We thought the relationship of human-animals should be more open through reading the book < The Companion Species Manifesto>. Nowadays, people take care and love their dogs, and even animals in a wrong way. Because we always think about how to use and train them, but in fact it just reflects our self-centered motivation. Animals become a part of the family, be the people’s object, and become children instead of animals. Therefore, we need to adjust ourselves to re-look and re-think all domestic plant and animal species, and find balance.
We think there are some parts that are related to our techno-nature project: bees as species to humans. We try to find a way to raise people’s awareness, and to push the public to rethink the relationship between humans and bees. Our project could give more information to help people to understand the meaning of companion species.
